VP of Engineering
Jerome DeCuir is the Vice President of Engineering and Network Operations for Infrastructure Networks. Before joining Infrastructure Networks in 2018, Jerome held various leadership roles in the energy and commercial telecommunications sectors responsible for delivering Fixed Satellite Services, Microwave Services, Cellular Services, Network Construction, Product Solutions, VoIP, DWDM Fiber Transport, and Data Networks. Under his leadership at McleodUSA he headed the design integration, and delivery of a scalable VoIP system which was rolled out to 82 markets and became the principal revenue platform. While at Inmarsat he headed up the development and implementation of a 60-node offshore WiMax platform for O&G integrated communications services. He has driven the design development and delivery of various products and solutions including, L-Band Failover, Out of Band Management using L-Band, Hosted Wi-Fi, Hosted Video, Hosted WiMAX, VSAT Failover for LTE, Stabilized WiMAX with Failover and collaborated on the evolution of OSS, NMS and back office applications. He established risk-based initiatives to improve the security of critical infrastructure. Including DNS split, ACS integration, IP address split, two factor auth, and device hardening. Under his leadership at Phonoscope he established forward looking process on Network evolution, expansion and scaling to enable Smart City, Connected Worker, WISP, IIOT, NaaS, Layer 3 expansion, IPTV, Security, Ring/Mesh Metro-E services.
Jerome began his career at EDS where he was instrumental in helping with the transformation of telecommunications services at the North American GM assembly plants from there, he joined The Williams Companies WilTel division which built a nationwide fiber optic network. After WilTel he joined McLeodUSA where he held a wide spectrum of engineering responsibilities from network architecture, standards and practices to the recruitment and management of the network engineering staff. Following McLeodUSA he joined Inmarsat where he streamlined the technical team to design and deliver solutions for the multiple business units including O&G and GOV.
Jerome holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisiana with a specialization in Telecommunications.
